quote [ Tina Lam and Michael Cheng snatched up Presidio Terrace — the block-long, private oval street lined by 35 megamillion-dollar mansions — for $90,000 and change in a city-run auction stemming from an unpaid tax bill. ]

So they gang up on the couple who legally bought the street rather than the negligent HOA that wasn't paying taxes...

I wish I could say that I was filled with happiness for Tina and Micheal for their shrewd investment, but I am so filled with delightful schadenfreude against the fat cats who can't bother to pay their fucking taxes that it is crowded out.
