I've always assumed there were two or three guys out there who had gotten false positives for nuking everything and held back. I never knew we had any idea who they were. This guys is a hero.

Well... there have been micro-tremors and we had that big-ass solar flare last week.

Not to get all weird about (actually to do exactly that) emp won't disable most military hardware. Guns may have a few primers go off maybe. Tanks and jets are all hardened for EMP. Only jets that are actively in use might have some trouble. All of our communications have back up systems. It would be all private power and equipment failer. It would make all our problems more extreme. Small shitty armys would be fucked, underground insurgents would suddenly be on even footing with them. The public would be ducked but the major militaries would be even more proportionally over powering.
