A tunnel collapsed at a North Korean nuclear test site, reportedly killing 200 people

quote [ In September, North Korea tested a powerful nuclear weapon that experts say rocked the mountain and made it unstable.

North Korean sources told TV Asahi that a tunnel collapsed on 100 workers and that an additional 100 who went in to rescue them also died under the unstable mountain.

The tunnels in and out of the test site had been damaged, and the workers may have been clearing or repairing them to resume nuclear testing.

If the test site is compromised, hazardous radioactive material left over from the blast may seep out. ]

NK will dismiss this as fake news, but if radiation levels increase in the region, there will be a response from China.

I'll dismiss this as fake news as well.
One reporting source. A Japanese source. No reputable media outlet has picked up on the story even though it has been repeated quite a bit with the dubious sites.

The tunnel collapse was known early in September. At the time it was suggested that the collapse was intentional. Here we are in November. If radioactive dust was going north, or south, it would be there by now. It's not like it crawls.

You're probably right.
