A Japanese retailer is using this polka-dot suit to bring its custom-fit clothes to the world

quote [ Start Today spent seven years developing its clothes-sizing process, which begins with the Zozosuit—a bodysuit covered in more than 300 stretchable markers that the Zozo app reads to come up with detailed measurements of your body ]

Everyone should just wear zozosuits all the time along with AR glasses that replace them with whatever clothing you want to see people in. Sure the glasses would be expensive, but think how much everyone will save on clothing costs.

I took them up on the free pants and shirt offer, even if they charge me $20 for shipping, I'll still be saving so much money for custom fitted clothing.

Thanks!

I got the suit. The measurement process was mostly painful after dealing with some problems in login. I had to clear the app storage and cache and reset my password. I found out that the username is case sensitive, too.

They show some key measurements, but they also make a snazzy 3d model of your body that you can rotate.

Looking forward to a follow up post about the process.
