Attorneys Generals don't usually represent the people. They are lawyers for the state. This is the very surreal world of Don Cheetos administration. State lawyers are fighting the FFC in court for peoples rights. This is the stupid time line.

State attorneys general often take on consumer protection cases and similar things where state citizens are being targeted.

California has sued the federal government 38 times since Trump took office.

I wonder how many representatives from those states supported getting rid of net neutrality in the first place and voted for it?

Also will this kick copywrite trolls into MORE action for as long as they can access records etc?
Or, if this doesn't relate can someone fill me in?

Congress didn't repeal net neutrality. The FCC does that.

When copyright trolls sue for infringement, they get their information by suing the ISPs, using discovery to get the customer names associated with the IP addresses the trolls saw, then dropping the lawsuit. Then they send out prelawsuit settlement letters. Net neutrality has nothing to do with it.

Okay.
I also thought it was related to ISP's releasing the personal information the trolls could use.
My ISP will send usually send a forwarded notice to me but US laws don't apply and they are pretty much doing it as a courtesy.
I suppose if they ever do I could be litigated upon but I would simply say that it was not me and possibly my router had been hijacked.
