...okay, how is that not written on the sign of my hometown? Turns out a guy I know is a writer/producer for some big movies and TV shows. Feels like it should've gotten more local attention when those were big. Why does my mom tell me every time most former classmates get a new car, but not "oh, do you remember Drew? He's a producer on that new movie your dad's excited about."

That's not my actual hometown though, just the next town over. My actual hometown's too small to get a name on it. Sounds like I have work to do.

Hmmm... interesting diversion. I consider myself has having two hometowns (for reasons), and I got Marni Nixon from one (I'm not familiar with her work as a "ghost singer," but I've probably heard it), and that one dude that motherfuckers act like they forgot about.

I noticed that they have Ray J as being more well-known than Brandy, and that hurts my heart a bit, considering how huge Brandy was.

This made me realize the handful of B-list celebrities I thought were from my hometown weren't actually born there, either.

It doesn't seem to be based on where people were born. The one for my hometown was born in Texas but grew up in NM (as did I, technically I'm Californian but spent so little time there that anybody who cares about it is probably a prick. Or a Californian.).

I found Tom Cruise. Right down the road a bit, I found Com Truise. Me thinks there's fuckery afoot in this project.

I am delighted to discover that Pam Grier and I share a hometown!

I click the link and the very first name I see (in bold, no less) is Adolf Hitler.
