REVEALED: I'm The Guy Behind The Viral "Insulin Is Free" Tweet

quote [ Remember the viral “insulin is free” parody tweet that set the internet ablaze? We were behind that. Here’s how our staff writer Sean exposed the greed of Elon Musk and Eli Lilly with just $8, 9 words, and 10 minutes. ]

I just watched The Rescuers online, for the first time since my parents took me to see it at the cinema when I was 5. I could only remember one scene from the movie - the little girl begging a skeleton not to keep flashing lights at her from its skull, before it turns out to be the diamond she was sent in to find is lodged inside. I re-watched it and the scene played out completely differently. No long drawn out gothic horror. No pleading. They just find the diamond in the skull. Plus there were some mice.

For 45 years I had a false memory in my head.

For some reason, I've always hated Jason Alexander's character on Seinfeld (George Costanza) whenever I see him in episodes. I didn't start seeing Seinfeld until their reruns on Fox after the news along with FRIENDS around '97-'98, but I just didn't like George. Turns out I actually hate (dislike?) Jason Alexander unironically. Hated him in Shallow Hal and any movie or show that I see him in.

After rewatching Pretty Woman recently, I realized I hated his character in that movie. I first saw the movie in theaters when I was young in 1990. It finally clicked and I've internalized his face subconsciously and just hated him all this time.

His son agrees with you, after watching Seinfeld.

"I have all the episodes on tape and I said, 'Well, here's the tapes, pop a few in and see what you think.' He turns to me after watching five in a row and goes, 'Dad, you're an a-hole!'
