I'm not saying it can not reflect the implied imbalance, but that graph of "number of discriminatory trade measures" doesn't really mean anything on its own. Those could be mico-measures covering niche products, while those passed by other nations could be very broad. It's not the number that matters, it's how much they affect trade.
I'm all for informative graphic representation of useful data, but if you're going to use them as implied criticism, make sure that they are directly relevant. |
