Little known fact: TV stations once used actual meaty people in front of cameras whose recorded images were sent to the audience's eyeballs using electromagnetic energy in radio and then light frequencies instead of beaming the idea of seeing people directly into the frontal cortex of target demographics using wizard magic.

I operate satellite antenna for a living, and still most of my coworkers act as if the microwave radiation they throw is the same as nuclear radiation. It's all "stay out of the front of the antenna or you'll never have kids". Or cancer, or something else dumb like that. I mean, sure, with enough power they'll cook a bird in flight, but they won't jack up your chromosomes.
