RevealTrue, there were some strong female characters (though one could argue that they were either relatively passive or taking orders from elsewhere rather than acting on their own volition), but I think the sexism really shows up with the holographic girlfriend, who's basically a manic pixie digital girl, and the giant sex dolls in the advertising (which was in keeping with the original, but taken to a new level of explication).
Personally I thought it was pretty but too long with a weak script - the Vegas sequence had me rolling my eyes like I was at a craps table, does everyone in LA have to love Las Vegas - but I'm glad you liked it, not a bad NYE. Escpecially with great Indian carry-out, I almost did Nepalese myself.
