Hacker demonstrates security flaws in GPT-4 just one day after launch

quote [ Ethical hacker and computer science student Alex Albert shares how he discovered security flaws in GPT-4 just one day after release.

"Albert: Similar to something like Roger Bannister’s four-minute mile, I hope this proves that jailbreaks are still possible and inspire others to think more creatively when devising their own exploits.

AI is not something we can stop, nor should we, so it’s best to start a worldwide discourse around the capabilities and limitations of the models. This should not just be discussed in the “AI community.” The AI community should encapsulate the public at large." ]

Sounds more like a pink hat act. His openly stating his intent and creating discussion in a field that needs it.

Watching the internet grow and seeing how we sold our data for a "free" internet.

Assuming these AI's are not just BOTS/deamons that have been prettied up with make-up and being whored out by get rich quick snake oil salespeople to a generation that didn't grow up shit talking and programming such things.
