The Deep History of the Radical Right's Stealth Plan for America
quote [ Interactive map that displays a rolling 7 day river gauge record.
Currently covering 12 nations. ]
Any suggestions?
What's the point..... heck would like to colour code the the pins in relation to the water level, allows easy visual of areas in flood or drought.
But first need to make it before can assign the colour coding.

Catchment/Basin GeoJSON and shapefiles.
Same as need to refine a few different overlays, something that removes excess gauges and lays the "standard" short-form gauges that relay details with reduced gauges. So refine the ~30,000 down to what might be displayed on the National News.
Get the data ingesting and see what can be done with it as I work on it.
Like the heat-map idea, I picture splitting a catchment into teh upper, mid, lower could select country, have other drop-down that would then be that countries river systems and catchment plains (selecting would color code the basin area and highlight the gauges in that system).

After finding an R package, some more research lead me to RivRetrieve-PYTHON. After failed attempts, been constructing custom ingest scripts to acquire the data from open-source government sources.
