GEB: Great book. Took me a few tries before I was ready for it in my early 20s. Particularly mind blowing when read at the same time with Jullian Janes' The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind. I'm doubtful of the theory of mental bicameralism, but it's still an interesting idea.
