quote [ Fox and National Geographic announced yesterday (Jan. 13) that the series will return in the spring of 2019. Astrophysicist and science communicator Neil deGrasse Tyson will return as the series' host. ]
This pleases me, in a nerdgasm sort of a way...

I should give the NdGT version another shot. I grew up on Sagan's Cosmos, and couldn't get into the new one. I love that it happened, though, and I'm delighted it's getting a second season.

I do recommend it. NdGT doesn't have the same je ne sais quoi as Sagan, but I do find the new one to be my favorite one for other reasons.

The show was mind-opening. NdGT will ease you into slumber, if you're not careful (not that he's boring - his voice is just calming). Definitely give it another go.

Carl Sagan was a human sleeping pill. Despite the fountain of info.
I thought this series came to it's natural conclusion. How much more can they detail without making shit up? |
