quote [ BAYNE: We miss one, that's the end, that's it.
COOPER: We have our two weeks off at the end of the year for Christmas, and that's pretty much it. ] The interview has more panels than I ever read of the thing but you might like an interview with the Oglaf webcomic people. Rare NSFW occasion.

Oglaf is so well written and drawn, but it's not even the most valuable thing about it. It's so valuable because the underlying presumption in every comic is that sexuality is normal and can be a source of joy, comedy or complex human experience without shame. That you can be horny and recreationally sexual, or explore kinks essentially without limits, without supporting or being misogynist or misandrist.
There are so few things like Oglaf that transmute the repressed sexuality we collectively grew up with, into just a part of being unified, consistent, healthy adults. SE is another one of those things, which is why I'm so glad they both exist. |

Been reading religiously (every Sunday) for years and have the first two or three books. Glad to hear they have a long storyline in the works, as I've been missing the more narrative stuff, sorry to hear it will end the strip. All good things and all that, at least they'll go out with a bang (hopefully) instead of withering away. Great to finally get to know the creators a bit.

It's a shame that Platinum Grit may never get finished as a story because reasons :(
