William Mortensen ? The Antichrist of American Photography in the House of the Devil

quote [ A few decades ago we spent a good deal of time at Anton LaVey?s ?black house? in San Francisco?s Richmond District. On the walls and on the shelves were a lot of items to look at and consider. One photograph, seen in the kitchen, was a framed and signed photograph of a hunching woman overlapped by a depraved cloaked ghost. ]

This is the first time I come into contact with such amazing artist. Creepy, powerful and at the same time sensual and joyful. Lusty and dark. I am not a big fan of photography but having someone being called the "AntiChrist" certainly got my attention.

Yes, he seemed like a really cool guy. I plan on checking some of his work from a phylosofic point of view. And he played a mean organ when he was a musician.

Laveynians are the cool ones. I love to cite their declarations (I can't remember the name in English for the moment) and how they are against harming children and animals, other than to eat them (the animals). Most Christians are freaked out on how tolerant the "Evil Satanists" can be.
