Didn't read the article, but the headline immediately planted an idea in my head.
Once a huge number of Alt-Right losers have flooded the internet with pictures of themselves wearing your brand, why not just donate cases of your glasses to every major Pride Week festival/parade and market yourself as the official sunglasses of Gay Pride? Once they understand what you're doing I bet a lot of the Pride organizers would be on board.
When it comes to culture war on the internet I'm a big believer in the Takei doctrine.
