So sad that Obama rejected Keystone Pipeline. Thousands of jobs, good for the environment, no downside!

i have started to call Lombard St. In San Francisco "Hillary St." because of how crooked it is.

I had to look that up, and there's another one, a few months earlier.

"If I am elected President I will immediately approve the Keystone XL pipeline. No impact on environment & lots of jobs for U.S."

We've towed the spill outside the environment, so there's no impact.

I believe that’s sarcasm.

But I can’t tell anymore because reality is weirder than fiction

Meh... it's not particularly large as far as oil spills go. The Delta House oil spill was twice the size, and that was just last month. The only reason this made the news is because the pipe was called "Keystone". At that, the media that did report on Delta House called it "the largest spill since Deepwater Horizon", making it sound like it was somehow comparable in scale when, in fact, the latter spill was about five hundred times larger. Big numbers get lost in the brains of news junkies... it's just the feeling that matters, right? wtf...

About one third of an Olympic pool, I think. Not great, but hardly a massive issue (unless it is your pool). If you convert Olympic pools to a knee high on a football field measure the scale becomes much clearer.
