quote [ Dillon Markey, an animator for Robot Chicken and PES, modifies a Nintendo Power Glove as the most awesome animation tool ever. ]

I love the animation behind Robot Chicken, but holy shit is the writing just embarrassing half the time.

On that note, new Venture Bros in four days!

Yeah, totally. The only thing that saves Robot Chicken is its rapid fire delivery. If a joke falls flat, its replaced in 2 seconds. That said, I haven't really watched it since season 2.

And, wow, Venture Brothers! That used to be one of my favorite shows ever, but I haven't watched since the season 3. That special looks pretty awesome though.

If you have the time I'd highly suggest binge watching it. if you like world building, character development, and relatable cynicism, it just gets better and better.

So basically he's just rewired the controls on the glove to be a bluetooth remote camera controller, but still +1 for good old-fashioned stop-motion animation.

i loved the power glove. I tried playing Mike Tyson's Punch Out with it, and I almost died trying to beat Glass Joe because the piece of shit glove would only register like one in five punches. The games were totally unplayable. So much promise, so much disappointment.

Fuck you nintendo.

Fuck you.

It was way too ambitious with what 80's technology would allow. Even in this magic future world we live in, Wii remotes and the Kinect are clunky and frustrating to use.

Maybe by 2040 the technology will get to the point where that kind of think will work as advertised. Assuming society doesn't collapse on itself by then.
