It's kind of an open secret that most Climate Change reports already have to err on the conservative side if they want to be published which is why it's kinda fucking terrifying when the IPCC's report for avoiding the worst case scenario requires the scaling up of technology that's basically vaporware to offset the fact we're not dialing back our fossil fuel usage and they're still being asked to tone it down.
