My girlfriend is away for a few weeks, so I’m going to try an experiment with not using any electric light during that time. I’m hoping something interesting will happen, like my circadian rhythm will revert to pre-industrial time. But it’s equally possible I’ll find myself sitting in the dark a lot.

When I go camping, my hungry cat is way more powerful than my circadian rhythms are at getting me out of bed.
