Why did Colorado disqualify Trump from the state’s 2024 election ballot?

quote [ The Colorado supreme court has ruled that Donald Trump is ineligible to run for the White House again, citing his role in the January 6 attack, in a ruling that could have major reverberations for the 2024 election. ]

I'm sure we'll see him sue next

My (Canadian) hat is off to Colorado.
There were no "but treason is just how he shows his love for the country."
arguments.
Just straight up "you try to overthrow the government - you can't be a part of that government"
I bet a lot of angry rednecks will piss and moan about him but I myself am biding my time to see this corrupt turd behind bars.
However, time to see if the stacked deck over at the Supreme Court will say.
"the Donald" will have to buy more booze and teen girls for Bett and kiss Clarence Thomas's wife's asshole.

Colorado made sure to use constitutional originalist arguments and references as well. For the right to oppose, they would have to admit they are hypocrites. Not that this has stopped them lately.
