This is both pretty dry geek stuff, and, like, bleeding edge law in the development stuff (because those are 2 different things). However, this is what "legalize and regulate" looks like.
I found the impairment graphs hugely interesting. As someone who has smoked and driven for a long, long time, it's really hard to argue with such observations as the report does make. It sure does effect reaction time. The less I drive in general, the less high I like to be when I do it. In general, the punchline is 'more and better data is needed, it has some effect that you want to look out for, but we cannot quantify it.'

Theres too many states with medical laws.
Plus if i recall correctly, republican senator from VA introduced the bill to end marijuana prohibition. We finally stand a good chance of getting some sensible policy in place for weed. And yes, i realize sessions is the former AG from alabama and enabled prosecution of people for life sentences for getting caught with 2lbs of pot. |

It is second crusade after immigration. Any relaxation in the law would have to go around him.
Here in my state Medical is legal but there are no dispensaries and small amounts are no longer carrying jail time but still will get a a fine. |

I live in Oregon, so things are rather nice. I can walk to the store and buy it. You can be busted for driving under the influence, but if I'm smoking at home I'm no longer hesitant about contacting the police if need be. That being said, I used to think that driving was OK because I could be high and get a good score on video games. I no longer think that. I don't drink and drive and don't toke and drive. Think of the three year old who could run out into the street in front of your vehicle when your reaction time is impaired before you turn that key.

Impaired is impaired. You neither want to live with the damage it could do, our the lives it could cost...and take it from me jail sucks and jail can also be hazardous to your health to the point of death as well.
If you must travel...take a cab...or try out the new Amazon booze delivery and around here most weed dealers would rather deliver than cause a crowd around their house so there is that as well. |

I had no idea THC absorbed into the body so fast, even after 8 hits your levels fall below 10% of peak in 30 minutes or less.

It stays in your bloodstream over 30 days and in the protein of your hair, well as long as the hair is in your head. So technically that joint you smoke when your hair was a foot shorter is still there to be tested.

I've read 21 days for even the heaviest smoker. I tested negative in urine just 3 days after I smoked. (High metabolism and low body fat)

I once tested positive on some ditch weed that wouldn't get a fly high after 20 days. This shit was in this guys trunk for a month, we were drunk, I was young.
