This does not mean you can put a normal sized 30rd Magazine on a featureless rifle because it still becomes an Assault Weapon under California law by virtue of being able to hold more then 10rds.

I was listening to NPR this morning and heard the Senator say this. The commentators didn't say anything about the meme. The commentators did ask a salient question: If the administration is saying that Russian hacking is a problem does it matter what Don Cheeto says?
