So. I've been having a big discussion on facebook about mass shootings. Most people seem to just take the stance of, ermahgod guns and seem to ignore everything else. I believe that yes, we need more gun control-not ban-control but i can't believe that the weapons of choice are the core of this issue. Note: I think at this point an all out ban in the US is impossible. We can't stop there. Hell, maybe it shouldn't even begin there. There is more wrong with our society and it seems like we ignore it.

What are we doing to cause these kids to snap in a way/frequency that we never saw as kids.

I'm ready. I would love to be able to work on my laptop, use vr, or read a book while my car drives me to my destination. While it does say it will launch next year, they still have to get around the law requiring steering wheels in all cars.

I've historically subscribed at silver level but decided to reup at gold this time around which comes with a custom mod. So instead of choosing one myself, i leave it to the community. Suggest a mod. I'll leave it open for a while and at the end see if everyone can vote on one that they like the best. (Maybe have people choose among the top 5 most upvoted at the end). I'll try to use whatever that mod may be on any posts that seem applicable and thus make it available to all to use.

While this is definitely worrisome to me, i find the healthcare side of it more horrifying. I'm waiting for the first case of an insurance company getting their hands on these records and denying a medical claim, stating the condition was known to the person and they didn't seek treatment.
